This gorgeous sewing table has been given a new lease of life by Wendy from Wai-o-Taiki Furniture Redesign.
The sewing table dates back to around the 1920s-1930s or earlier. It is a beautiful oak piece with lovely tiger stripes on the top. Wendy has lightly white washed the top to enhance the natural wood top and has added the paisley lover transfers and finished with clear wax.
The base has been painted in a gorgous ivory and then aged with dark wax. The paisley moulds have been done in resin using the Just Paisley Mould and then been hand-painted. The inside of the sewing table has been relined with fabric.
Please note all of our pieces are second hand, hand painted items, so may have some wear and tear and imperfections.
