Neutral, warm and earthy with a lovely soft aged feel.
This paint recipe works well with light wood tones and would look great on a piece with a refinished wood top.

- Clear Wax
- Dark Wax
- Natural Bristle Brush
- Pro-Hybrid Round Synthetic Brush
- Super Fine Steel Wool
- Optional: Vienna Champagne or Silver Gilding Wax
1 - Paint in Sea Mist chalk paint using your round synthetic brush. Paint in large crosses to create very subtle texture. Do a second coat if needed for full coverage and lightly sand any excess texture off.
2 - Make a coloured wax using Clubhouse Grey chalk paint and Clear wax, using a 1:1 ratio. Using your natural bristle brush, brush out all over the paint finish in a thin layer, gently wipe excess off with a clean rag.
3 - Make a coloured wax using Parisian Grey chalk paint and Clear wax, using a 1:1 ratio. Using your natural bristle brush, brush out in areas you want to create shadows and depth, e.g. carved details, around drawers edges or feet. Gently wipe excess off with a clean rag.
4 - Make a coloured wax using Calicut chalk paint and Clear wax, using a 1:1 ratio. Using your natural bristle brush, brush out in areas you want to create highlights. Gently wipe excess off with a clean rag and use steel wool to blend waxes together.
4 - Optional: Detail the edges with Gold or Silver gilding wax, using either a finger or a detail brush.
