What you will need:

Obsidian Blue Chalk Paint
- Carbon Black Chalk Paint
- Clear Wax
- Natural Bristle Brush
- Pro-Hybrid Round Synthetic Brush
- Super Fine Steel Wool
- Optional: Silver Gilding Wax
1 - Paint the Obsidian Blue chalk paint using the round synthetic brush in large crosses to create subtle texture. Lightly sand out any excess texture that you don't want.
2 - Make a coloured wax using Carbon Black chalk paint and Clear wax, using a 1:1 ratio. Using your natural bristle brush, brush out all over the paint finish in a thin layer, gently wipe excess off with a clean rag.
3 - Use Clear wax to pull back the Carbon Black wax to create highlights and show the Obsidian Blue underneath. Use fine steel wool if needed to blend the wax finish together.
4 - Optional: Detail the edges with Gold gilding wax, using either a finger or a detail brush.
