Bring Your Own Piece - White Wash Masterclass Friday 9 February
In this 'bring-your-own piece' masterclass we teach you how to create a White Wash paint finish using The Artisan Company chalk paint system and wax.
This is a creative 2.5-hour hands-on workshop where we teach you different techniques so you can master this white wash look. You will learn how to:
- Paint with texture
- Make and use a white wash
- Seal your chalk paint and use metallic glides to finish your piece
The Dooney & Daughters team will step you through creating this white wash paint finish on your own piece.
All brushes, paint, waxes, metallic glides and morning tea are provided, all you need to bring is a small piece of furniture!
Masterclass criteria: This masterclass is perfect for any skill level. No experience is necessary.
Bring your own piece criteria: in order to complete your project within 2.5 hours, we require that you can easily carry your item with one arm. Great examples to bring are a chair, side table or bedside.
Booking is easy, simply choose your preferred date and add to cart, make an online payment and receive confirmation of your booking. We will send a confirmation email closer to the time to remind you that you have a workshop booked with us. Alternatively, you can book in person in our store at 122 Upland Road in Auckland.
Our masterclasses are run in groups of up to 4 for the optimum learning experience, book early to avoid disappointment! All workshops start at 10am.
