This is an exciting workshop by Dooney & Daughters.
Combining two things we love, decoupage and our premium chalk paints, we will walk you through our style of furniture decoupage in a fun, hands-on class.
Decoupage is a wonderful technique that can be used to create extra-special one-off pieces for your home.
This workshop will cover all of the decoupage essentials, including:
- Prepare your surface
- Different papers & mediums
- Preparing your papers
- Creating your own unique designs
- Applying your papers
- Blending using the Artisan Company premium chalk paints
- Creating age and patina over your papers
- Finishing
This workshop is perfect for those who have never decoupaged before, or for those who want to learn some new techniques. No experience is necessary.
All materials and tools will be provided within the workshop so you just need to bring yourself and an open mind.
Booking is easy, simply choose your preferred date and add to cart, make an online payment and receive confirmation of your booking. We will send a confirmation email closer to the time to remind you that you have a workshop booked with us. Alternatively, you can book in person in our store at 122 Upland Road in Auckland.
Workshops are run in groups of up to 6 for the optimum learning experience, book early to avoid disappointment. All decoupage workshops start at 10am and run for approximately 2 1/2 hours.
